The More Things Change

Pat Buchanan famously said, "Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket."

I think we may be seeing this century's progressives start down that winding road today, as DailyKos, Open Left, and the Swing State Project divvy up their fund raising and start, perhaps, to edge off in different directions.
