Rove Gets in on the Action

In the process of painting Obama as an effete, out-of-touch liberal in interview at the NRA convention today , Marc Ambinder reports Rove lambasted Obama for unrealistically promising change.

Then Roves lays this out there (maybe we can call it "pin-gate" now...):

"Let me tell you what's distracting -- it is distracting to say change when you have no experience of making real change. .... It is distracting to say that an American flag on a lapel is a substitute for patriotism ... then this week start showing up with an American flag on your lapel...."

I don't dismiss anything Rove says as an off-the-cuff rant. And I don't think this issue is going anywhere.
